Default Mentor needed

I've kept snakes for a number of years, and would like to find out more on the keeping of venomous reptiles.
What I am looking for is a mentor, to show me the in's and out's of venomous snakes.
I have no immediate plans to rush out and buy anything, in fact after doing the research with an expert, I may opt not to go down this road at all.
I have researched the DWA and the dedicated HOT room and am able to meet all the demands involved.
I live in S.Wales and I am able to travel. (Though I don't want to travel to the ends of the earth...LOL)
I am 50 years old, so I am quite responsible.
I am not looking to keep cobras or anything that dangerous.( I like eyelash vipers)
If anyone would like an old apprentice let me know.
Thanks for taking the time to read my post.
MIKE

have you thought about trying a centipede? as they behave like some hot snakes. if you can keep one of those without incident your well on your way to the more hotter pets

Are they doing this again now??

Every time I ask they are "just waiting" for something or other and never get back to me.

almosty no good aty all if it is snake or lizards you are planning on keeping.

Can't see a 'pede lasting long using trap boxes, snake hooks and tongues!!

yeh but it keeps you on your toes and proves if the cage is secure! i'd asume if your getting a hot snake you'll already have pracise with hook's etc....

apparently so, Angi told me they were, the vet was on about doing the course but I got a reference from the guy I had been working with in the end instead.
