im sorry i got the wrong bulb they want £60 for these bulbs
Damn! I was just about to ask where the shop was so I could buy their entire stock, should have known it was too good to be true!

Still, the price of these type of bulbs is falling, I guess because more people are using them, and more places selling them so there's more competition.

yeah that should be fine, altough you may need extra heat (ceramic) at night, depends on how hot the room is.

Hi,

I'm thinking about getting the 100W for my soon coming 6fth x 4ftw x 18d viv. Just wondering how well will this light up the viv? I'm thinking about placing it at the very top of the viv on one side, leaving about 12" between bulb and basking point with the 150w ceramic heater on the other side to maintain the temps with a UV tube under a shelf which will be halfway down the viv. My CWD usually stays as high as poss so the temps at the bottom of the viv doesn't matter too much.

Does the 100W sound ok for a viv this size? I want to use the height as much as poss and heard that there must be a bigger distance between basking area and bulb for the 160w bulb.
