ok where to start right i have a red and blue from each end of the tube two browns from the starter i have a blue from the plug and a blue coming from the main unit

red will be live, blue neutral, the blues in the starter unit will be neutral and the browns live, connect the red from the light to the brown from the starter and the blues should be connected together.
