Default Any info on Radiant heat panels?

I've a friend who is wondering are these good? and where he might get some?

most wholesalers carry habistat so if he inquires at his local reptile shop they should be able to order one in for him if they don't stock it normally

I've used em and find they're quite efficient and allow a good gradient because they direct heat down instead of out in all directions like a ceramic bulb, but should still be run on a thermostat ideally. Had a 75w in a 4x2x2 viv which provided perfect temps for my boas, though the room it was in was decently warm.

Yep I've actually got 2 in a 6*2*2 for my boas and they work great... They fit the the ceiling and don't stick out like a normal ceramic does. As Ben said though I think you need a room that averages 70f for them to be really effective.
