Can our bosc see a red light bulb? Im just wandering as i know leopard geckos dont, but is it because they are nocturnal?

they arnt supposed to see red lights as i use them in a lot of my vivs but a couple of weeks ago i bought one of those temp guns with a red beam on it an when i fire it in the vivs the damn lizards chase the red beam so now i think yes they can see it...but if its on a dimmer anyway its gonna be very low at nights id imagine

mine does the same
i aim the temp gun in the viv and the little sods chase the red light around. its quite funny really but its changed my mind on if they can see red or not????? i use red bulbs to maintain heat at night. most times they dont even come on as its quite warm in the house

thing with the 'infra red' bulbs is the heat is transfered through infra red wavelengths which we and reptiles cant see.. but the red light is visable to us so is visable to them aswell but it doesnt bother me sleeping with 3 bulbs on all the time so dont see why it would bother them lol, jus think of it as a night light lol
