Hi i am new to this website and i have never been in a reptile forum before (so be nice lol)

I am having my first reptile ever in a couple of weeks and i dont want the vivarium to be on the floor.so i thought i would make a stand and have some space under the viv to put some of the snakes things e.g spare logs, hides, feeding tub etc.

so this is were i need your help i need a website that cuts my wood to size and delivers. I am not that bothered if it doesnt cut my wood. Its just that my mum doesn't drive and i dont think my family has a van and my dad doesnt live with me.

If you could help me at all with my situation i would be greatfully thankful

ok, I can't see why you need advice asap as it's not life threatening if it's on the floor...

There's plenty of places that cut wood if you tell me which town you're based I can have a mooch around to find someone veryclose that can do just this for you.

if you could get a lift ,b & q meir will cut any thing to size , first couple of cuts are free then about 50p a cut

do they deliver?

B+Q will do everything you need. for another viv or a stand. They do cut the wood and they will deliver.
Any local DIY store that stocks contiboard or the like will cut and deliver for a price and probably cheaper than B+Q. try google or thompson local

what about legs for it instead of building a cabinet? i have the same problem as u and today bought 4 legs from ikea for £1.79 each so that i can store stuff under. incase u are interested they are called `vika curry' for me was just a cheap and easy way to get round it, might build a cabinet later.
