solid cupboard to convert, how to protect
i am about to win a solid pine computer cupboard with i am going to convert into vivs, how can i protect it from the heat? or can i even do that? im really worried its not going to work now as ive heard horror stories from solid wood vivs, please dont tell me ive wasted my money!

but seriously... you've wasted your money.. nah. you shouldn't use pine for vivs but if you coat it with yacht varnish then it should be fine. do a coat and leave to dry properly, then add another, leave a few days to dry and then another
