To give you a rough idea, go to this website: Household energy consumption
and work out how much (W) you're likely to use, for example, a 100W bulb run for 4 hours a day costs 4p a day, therefore 100W = 1p/hr. So if you have say a 25W UV and a 100W ceramic and a 16W heatmat, you're looking at less than 1.5p/hr, 24 hours a day = 36p/day x 365 days a year = £131.40 a year. But, remember stats will reduce electricity, by reducing the wattage used, and so for the majority of the summer you'll be using far less than that, and in the warmer spring/autumn months you'll be using less also. Think that's a bit confusing, but hopefully it makes sense as well!!! ![]()

Thanks hun!!!
I was trying to work it out last year you see, because my housemates were asking for extra electricity money... as soon as I pointed out I had less than 40W on 12 hours, and 16W on 24, which is less than a lightbulb, they soon shut up! lol
