Does anyone know of any breeders of fancy mice in south east sussex? I am having real difficulty finding anyone.
Where do other people get theres from?
What do people think of ones purchased from normal run of the mill pet shops?

Write or call the National Mouse Club and tell the secretary you're interested in whatever varieties you're looking for - are there any breeders in your area?

It'll be useful if you do some research first and find out which varieties you like and the standards thereof - though NMC breeders are not necessarily squeamish about culling offspring to get the best show mice, they are not always interested in selling potential show trios to be feeder breeders.

And all of my current breeders are "pet shop" mice.

I've had very few problems with them, though I really need to add new bloodlines. All my current animals are descended from one male.

If you are ever over in yeoil (somerset) I ususlly have assorted fancy mice available.

Not to slate pet shops but my original stock were from pet shop stock and they were short lived and had small litters. al breeders are now from original breeder stock from 3 different sources and they seem much stronger, bigger and healthier.
