Default natural daylight

i was looking in maplins the other day kicking myself for not going in there sooner (ceramic bulb holders £2.49) i noticed they are doing natural daylight bulbs are they any good for reptiles, any opinion on this would be great

not looked but normally they are just a blue bulb and not U.V.
also the ceramic holders are still expensive there

as far as i am aware the natural daylight bulbs do not emit uv but more simulate the light levels..could well be wrong though!

halogen lights however do emit small amounts of uv..

how much you paying then?

wasnt considering uv value but wondered if they would be ok with snakes

Maplins is the cheapest place ive found for ceramic holders too. Take it you guys that are getting them cheaper arn't getting them from a large chain like maplins ect?
