Default water pumps

Do you plug water pumps in or are they powered by battery?

yup think battery powered would be a pain in the back side tbh. the motor takes up to much energy so batteries would need changing all the time

As the others have said batteries would last no time at all, most are mains voltage, a few are low voltage, but they all plug in.

all my pumps and misters are either mains powered or 24V.. just keep your eyes open at car boot sales and on your local freecycle group for indoor water features.. they have good little submersible pumps in AND some of them have misters aswell
