Default Hydrometer

Hi guys,
Is there a 'best' place in the viv to postion a hydrometer?

in most cases it doesnt matter.
If you have a particular area you want to keep in range,then it would be a good idea to have it there, or if theres an area which is liekly to differ than the rest of the viv [liek directly above a large water area] then prolly best to avoid being too close to it.

I dont give much thought to where i Position mine, usually a bit closerto te cool end than hot end, fairly high up ad in no direct heat or shade.
