Hi is it safe to put a double plug on my mat stat and have a bulb and heat mat running from it? I only have the one mat stat for my leos viv you see but wont to use my 40watt bulb and heat mat together so temps don't drop in winter for my leo am getting would it still work like i said if i use a double plug or not or would it not be safe?

aslong as the load dosnt go over 100Watts then you should be fine
only problem i see is the light going on and off will be very annoying and shorten the life of the bulb a lot..lol

Thanks its only going to be temporarily Am going to get a dimmer stat for it next month i just wonted to see if it would be ok to use till then thanks for your help
