Default anyone know............

how many gallons an exo terra viv of the following size would be?!


45 x 45 x 60 cm 18"x 18"x 24" (WxDxH)

just trying to find out as everywhere says this gallon tank and that gallon tank so just trying to figure it out!!

A tank of those proportions would hold 28.033 Imperial Gallons (33.66 US)of water if filled to the top.

It's only the yanks who measure tanks in gallons these days, everyone else uses litres, so it's worth remembering that if a tank or viv is quoted in gallons then it almost certainly refers to US gallons.

A US gallon is 3.79 litres.

To find the volume of any tank just measure internal length, width, and depth in decimetres (a decimetre is 10cm) and multiply them together, in your case 4.5 x 4.5 x 6.0 = 121.5 litres.

Then if you need to find the volume in US gallons divide by 3.79 = 32.0
