Dimmer stat And UPS

Anyone had any experience in using a dimmer stat with a ups system? Iv just hooked the trust 950va one up to mine and i am getting it turning on and off all the time not a constant glow as in meant to happen. Anyone found one that works well on them?

being a bit thick now but whats an ups system ?

uniterruptable power supply or basically translated a big battery.

Can't see why it'd keep dimming them as the UPs should just act as a pass through system until your electric goes off when it'll run as a battery.

i used to have a microclimate dimmer stat hooked up to an apc 1200 ups and it worked fine...

ups is uninteruptable power supply, usually used for computer hardware, etc.. most efective way to filter out surges and they keep whatever is plugged into them running if there is a power cut..

not all of them run as pass through untill theres a power cut.. some charge them run constantly from the batteries and charge em up from the mains constantly.. depends what type of ups it is.. but i never had problem runnign a ddimmer stat of mine.. :/
