Question heatmats 4 leo's

do i put it underneath or at the back ov a glass viv ?

for glass vivs i recomend putting it underneath the glass tank.
if poss it is always good to put the heat mat inside under the substrate is it will stop the stat and mat working so hard!

Never at the back of the viv because leos take heat in through their bellies!

i new that but the ptshop owner today told me to put=it at the back soit creates a thermal gradiant but he keeps his baby leos on sand so he obviosly dont o what he's onabout lol
