I got that for a bit but not so much now. It was mostly when i was taming them and would get spiked.

I'm allergic to my rats and want to rip my skin off it itches so much.....you can take antihystermines available from boots to help manage it.

I get extremely itchyness and a mild rash all over my hands if they huff up whilst being handled. This is only really an issue for me with the very new babies as the adults aren't really that huffy now and I know how to pick them up without being spiked.

I'm also extremely sensitive to spider hairs and get a bad rash when handling any spider, so I think that it is similarly triggered as those susceptable to spider hairs seem to be suscetable to the hedgehog spikes.
