Default Skunks have hobbies too!

Popped into the kitchen earlier, when I came back, I found Mr Snuggles busy in a chatroom on another forum I use.

After ignoring his healthy food yesterday he decided today that he was going to eat what was offered, not all of it, he had a good pick through, but he's starting to get stuck in.

He's also much less timid with us today and even wandered about the sofa tonight letting us give him a bit of a fuss. He also had a nibble of my toes. I was worried he was going to be shy for ever, but he's really starting to settle in now. I don't actually want to go back to work next week, but at least he seems to sleep most of the day!

He rocks, I'm so glad I got him!

Oh and thanks to Emma for her advice - he made a beeline for a handbag on my armchair today, I didn't realise it was there, got it off him and in it was a packet of paracetamol.

awww cute. On a more serious note has anyone ever considered using skunks as sniffer dogs as they seem to have a knack of finding drugs...............

Nah teach em to spray whoever they find them on. Would be 1 helluva deterrent at airports.

It occurred to me when I posted this - but what if all they find is paracetamol??

And I'm up because I have dozed all day on the sofa while Mr Snuggles has dozed all day in his chosen location (a pink cat box). I'm gradually changing to skunk time which isn't ideal for work next week!

Normally I'm out at work from 8, can be out up to 6pm some nights and Jeff works from home, so isn't great company, so for him to sleep all day and be alert when we're about is good for us.
