I dont know that the above is entirely accurate. Of all the mutations available in exotic species albinism seems comparitively rare. I think that this could be due to the fact that in some instances albinism seems to come with its own array of health issues. just a thought.
There is a white tailed mutation as well as leucistic, blonde, white face and what are being referred to as black beauties.
I've heard of and seen pied individuals of acacia rats, african pygmy dormice, shaws jirds
skunks come in (to name the few i know of) lavender, black, swirl, chocolate, silver, albino, apricot... in all honesty, just google the species you are looking at and you'll find what you're looking for.

yes for more popular species that have been kept or farmed more mutations crop up.
im not saying that albino will be the first mutation to arise in captivity but in less commanly kept species the first mutation usualy seen is albino such as rhesus macaque the albino gene is known in captivity and crested porcupines the albino gene is also quite common.....
tbh now ive said all that i dont really know where im going with this lol
