ok i'm looking at getting some richardsons ground squirrels and am looking for any helpor info on them that anyne has.
firstly cage size. would be looking at building an enclosure within my lage shed so a fairly large cage could be built. also what would be the best thing. i was thinnking of an large l shape around 3 foot deep and 4 foot high loads of dirt ad perspex front so to see in? or sometyhing. any good? also numbers to keep them in? any info at all. ad anyone know a good place to get them? i've worked wth prarie dogs before andad happy to work with these. cheers |

Sorry, missed this one.
Use anything you'd keep a ferret in. Bigger is better. Just like ferrets, lots of tubs and bits to get into. You can order food designed for them from the States (Prarie dog mix.) Also hay and hard food stuffs like coconut.
