Who's your breeder? My friend had the only Champshow Best in Show winning Shar pei in breed history, breed record holder for CC's and wins alsorts of stuff.

Great fun as a breed but can be dominant if you let them lol.

Ahh he was found in the Advertiser newspaper. We had him fixed, so no chance of dog showing now.

He's been very stubborn in the past, but recently my mum found that he responds to a certain voice she does and now he's very obediant! Still very difficult dogs to train though.

Indeed they can be a nightmare but as they're a free thinking breed you've got to understand dog speak to get the best of them, they don't do pack leader unless you show them YOU ARE pack leader but great fun lol

It's funny that he's actually quite a nervous dog when it comes down to it, but if a stranger knocks on the door he barks as if he's about 10 times his real size and sounds very intimidating! Little do they know that if they walked right in he'd run the other way haha.

I don't recommend shar-peis as a first dog though. We learned the hard way! Though we had to learn very fast and we've got through a lot of hard times when he just wouldn't come back for hours at the park etc
