What smell? Our de-scented skunks don't smell any different to our 'intact' skunks and they all live in the house with us. If you get a well socialised 'intact' skunk you should have no major problems. 'Firing off' is a last resort defense, so unless you have seriously scared your skunk it's not a problem that should occur.

Stupidly tame, he has been extremely well socialised, growing up in a busy household with small children present.
