Baby Pygmy Hedgehogs and a new adult.
After the disaster that was the last little guy, I didn't want to post too early in case they didn't make it.. but things are looking good now as the hedgehogs are now wandering a very little by themselves (ok.. as long as mom is right there!) and hopefully in another week to 10 days I will be able to begin to handle them to start socialisation. And finally clean out the cage!!
I apologise for the mess of the bed/cage it's impossible to clean out whilst the litter is in there and they are a little prone to taking their food back to the den and leaving bits of it everywhere. The hoggies at 5-7 days:  And now at 8-10 days (what a difference a few days makes!):  And whilst I am here, unrelated... but here is the new one I picked up a few week ago

Updated:
Now starting daily handling and socialisation, eyes are open and they're becoming adventurous little things. They grow so fast!    And for comparison this is the 2 day old picture from the litter I tried to hand rear (due to abandonment), just so you can see how much they grow in just a few weeks!
