I have always admired these more then any other parrots, id love one. Are they hard to look after?? Is it true that if there left alone for long periods they get depressed or something? Hmmm maybe someday when i have more time ill think about getting one.

Unfortunatly they are quite a demanding bird to keep , they need lots of attention and stimulation.

yes, thats one of the main problems, some people are atracted by their natural charm, and then dont have enough time to entertain them, and the birds start to pluck themselves, they really are quite demanding, and not for people who arent prepared to give up holidays etc.
