Default worms and snails

im going to introduce other food items to my boscs diet so he has a large mixture of insects instead of just the normall crickets and rodents i dont agree with adding alot of rodents to a boscs diet as its not naturall for them to eat ,im wanting to use earthworms on occasion and snails from the garden but i dont know if they will be alright to use ?
i was going to buy some african land snails but i cant find anywere thats cheap enough to sell them
thanks

I have GALS here if you want some, they're adults but still sleeping for the winter purely because I've not woken them up yet.

i know a worm farmer who does dendrobena etc, come in tubs and if kept cool last for weeks. You might be able to get canned snails from your local Deli, just make sure they are not in pernod or champagne!LOL

The main problem with garden ones is parasites as far as I'm aware, they carry lungworms that infest sheep and dogs who just lick the grass they slither over.

Tried worms with my monitors, they weren't interested. OH now has a pair of giant land snails and I'm going to try their babies on the monitors.
