Arrow Death of baby crickets

I bred myself some crickets and had at least 500 hatch, they lived for about 2 weeks but where not very big (4mm) because they were only at 80. Anyway point being that by 2 weeks there was only 10 or 20 left.

I fed them on greens, dog food and cotton wool for water.

I think they might have died due to condensation but there wasnt enough for them to drown in.

My question is "Could to high a humidity have killed them???"
