Default mice (sexing)

at what age can you sex mice?
as iv just taken on a load of young mice from a mate at work (his sons pets went on a breeding frenzy) and dont want the same thing happening to me.

I can sex them at a day old...but that is just with years of looking after mice. About 10-12 days when they get their fur in, and you can see the nipples on the females especially in darker ones. Also, the gap between the anus and the vaginal opening in females is very short, whilst the males have a bigger gap between the anus and the penis. Once you get the hang of it, you can do it earlier and earlier in their development!

Being a lincesed animal tech it is second nature but the vent distance is minimal on pink mice although the best way is comparasons, find a male and female in the litter double check and then its easy use that one sure animal as a comparason for the rest.

Labs? i worked for B&K when i left college its second nature now can sex them very quickly lol

yours souns like weaners so it will be easy to tell as there men will have urm bulges where the females wont and there will as said have nipples
