Default Roaches and climbing

I hope this is the right place to ask this...

I have bought some dubia roaches. I know they cant climb glass or fly but can they climb smooth shiny plastic? I have bought some for my APH but I want to be sure that the little horrors cant escape his cage. Its a haagen Zoozone plastic rabbit cage with a barred top. Will they get up the plastic?

I've never noticed any of mine being able to climb anything - generally they fall straight onto their backs! The only thing they can climb is dusty silicon sealant. If the sides of the plastic get very dusty they may be able to get up them, but I would be extremely surprised if they can get up smooth plastic...

Yea i agree some of the very little ones can scramble up the silicon, may be worth putting some vaseline around the top to deter them, this works with lobsters but im not sure with Dubias its worth a try if your worried.
