Default Striped Hairless mice

I was cleaning my mice and rats today and came across 3 hailess mice with stipres on their backs.
Sorry the photos not great as light levels low.
Has anyone seen striped hairless before, its the first time I've seen them in my cages.
Unfortunatly all 3 are male but I have set up a cage with them and some hairless females, to see if thery are carriers.

Stephen

Banded is dominant (well - codominant, as the homozygous form has a different appearance to the heterozygous banded), so your females don't need to be carriers.

I love bandeds, most of my mice are bandeds or from banded lines now It's a challenge getting the markings straight!

Must admit I know little about mouse genetics.
I'm just happy to see the bands, straight would be a bonus.

They are in a heated area so should be OK Temp wise.

Hopefully I'll have more over the next month or two.
They are too cute for snake food.

Stephen.

very cute
i used to breed bandeds a few years back but i got fed up with them because thats all that i could breed so i discontinued the line and started with other stuff... now i am over run with other markings and no bandeds which i would love, especially in satin ..

Most of my hairless meece are gentically banded. Some have decent amounts of white on them, others just a bit. A perfect band goes all the way around the mouse with very straight lines and about an inch wide.
