CRITICAL rodent shortage....
Hi,
Was getting some mice today (luckily got them all) and i overheard one of the assistants saying "thats the last time they come here with that national shortage and all...." Snyone got any information about this, ive found the stocks have been dwindling recently and if thats true im a bit worried about what to do... Anyone got any problems online? thanks for reading/any help JBJ

With a headline like "CRITICAL rodent shortage.... " everyone will rush out to "top-up" their frozen and cause a shortage even if there was not one.

There was a shortage late last year which has had a knock on affect in to this year. A large supplier in mainland europe managed to ruin his breeding colony of over 15,000 adults as the summer tempratures caught them unawares frying his colonies.
Since then they/he has been getting back on his feet but as far as we are concerend all stocks should be back up and running around april time so not long.

I can get medium mice just not doin so well on XLs and even worse on rat weaners - gah!

i breed my own so dont have to worry... and poor breeder losing that many
