Default breeding Phoenix Worms / CaliGrubs

Has anybody tried breeding Phoenix Worms / CaliGrubs? If so how successful where you? What conditions did you use etc.

i was told that the ones bred now for distribution were strerile..

and that the breeder worms are in very short supply.. whether thisis one of those reptile urban myths or not ive no idea
