me and my gf has bought a bosc monior and whenever i go to pics him up he hisses and bites but after a whille he calmes down can any1 give me some advice on how to help him calm down when i pick him up please hes only a baby so i know he must be scared just would like some advice thank you

I take it you left him settle in for a week or so ?
And its normal for them to hiss and bites or tail whip but after time with lots of tlc he will get over it try feeding him out of your hand in his viv.
And if he makes a nice burrow in his viv don't pull him out every five seconds they need to feel secure hope it helps .
