Default Maggots

Yeh their icky but cheap, currently feeding them to my mantids. Non dyed too. Anyway my question is can other reptiles take them? If so are they good as staple? However they look rather fattening.

Just fed a handful to the bosc in a little blue bowl and it went ape. Its scoffing them down. Anyone know if these are going to be too fattening or?
