Default Dubia roaches..what are yours in

right so im going to be starting to culture Dubia (Blaptica dubia) and i was just wondering on what every one kept theres in

i really don't want to go for a glass tank as there very bulky and heavy so deffo would prefer plastic

so any ideas suggestions welcome

Mine are in a 19L RUB filled with egg cartons, few air holes drilled in the lid and it's sat on a heatmat. They all ran for cover when I switched on the light and opened the lid...started off with about 200 adults and now there's quite a lot of little ones running about.

Yep, mine are in something like that too - £3.99 for a great big tub like these with a lid from a Focus diy shop - they prefer solid sides apparently coz light disturbs them, my tub is a solid grey colour with a translucent lid - with lots of holes drilled in it too

I keep mine in a rub as well. I like these roaches so much im thinking of keeping a few other roach species I was passing poundstretcher the other day and noticed they had some large plastic storage boxes in the window so ill probably use them theyre bound to be cheaper than rubs.
