What species do you have?

Some neither climb nor fly and can be kept in tubs quite easily - Dubias are like that, and you can actually put them into quite a low lidless container and not have to worry about escapees.
Some climb very well (lobster roaches) and will need a vaseline barricade around the top of the tub.

Yeah they are Dubai I think, they look like them anyway and don't fly or climb, just scuttle around alot. I've got them in a plastic tub atm and none seem to have escaped overnight lol. So do I just put something for them to eat in and just leave them for a while until they just breed or is there a certain temperature thats best for them?

Keep dubias warm at one end of the tub, with the ability to move to a cooler end. The warmth will help stimulate breeding. With only ten, breeding will be very VERY slow going - they prefer to be quite crowded to breed at their best. I wouldn't take any out of the tub until you have hundreds of various sizes - so yeah, feed 'em up (we use porridge oats plus fish food and dog biscuit, with water gel crystals for moisture) and leave them to it.

Awesome thanks.
I'll put a small heat mat under one end then, I might get a couple more if it speeds up the breeding, saves buying things all the time though

Dubias do best between 90-95f and more on the dryer side be patient with them as they can take up to 3 months to start breeding. The more you have the more secure they will feel and will breed better in overcrowded conditions. As above with food and they enjoy being lightly sprayed twice a week.
