There's whats called a Human Code of Culling in Britain wherein you have to cull animals in the quickest and humane way possible without causing unnecessary suffering.
Technically your also meant to be qualified to do it...meh whatch gonna do? Electrocution is legal but generally frowned upon in Britain CO2 is acceptable but takes a relatively long time and is fairly stressfull (You can see them struggle to get out) CO2 is also not suitable for pinkies as they don't breathe enough to inhale the CO2 and it can take up to an hour for them to die Breaking the neck is the quickest and widely accepted as the most humane mehtod for killing mice/rats and pinkies Hope this helps xxx

have to disagree here, it takes a LOT of practice, and if you get it wrong you have an injured mouse, in a lot of pain!! it is very stressful to both mouse and human, and it is not advised, as you really have to know what you are doing. pluss it is very time consuming as you have to do each mouse individually (i cull about 100 at a time) |
