If its only a few i would let them die off but then im guessing they are not the silent crickets?

A pest control would use a simalar thing to double sided tape but its more like a credit card size sticky card. Stick something like a sweet in the centre and leave it on the floor. Should eventally catch the run aways. Due the the ammount you lost you may find that this may take some to catch one.

Whoops! At least it's 5 not 55. Finding them is they key. If you put your sticky trap near the places they love to hide (anywhere dark) you may have more success. Putting the lid of the tub down with a hide (eggbox/toilet roll tube) with some food (cucumber/potato) under it works. you then just put the tub onto the lid and voila! Good luck with that.

Default Hoover them up ;)

I once left a tub ajar. I saw one hopping around the sitting room and thought it was a lone escapee. Putting it back in the tub I saw about 20 on the stairs.....out with the vacuum and most of the job done

I've had a few escapees. I let me chipmunks in the room and they do a very thorough sweep and clear. Works a treat. Although when one of the munks escaped he went straight for one of the tubs and proceeded to tear it and the 12 or so occupants to pieces becoming royally fat in the process!
