Default whats best to feed crix?

basically food

and how do i give them water

at the mo, they hae bread, a apple core and a potato (which has nerly all been eaten)

i kinda got a colony

my finred picked me up some, i didnt think the petshop would put so many in (there nt the best)

i also ordered some online

im hoping they will breed so i can keep them going, i mean ill have aorund 100 tomorw, so they wont go fast

but yeah, food and water?

When i used to keep lizards i used tropical fish food, crumbled digestive biscuits, apple, orange and a lil cap of water with tissue init, so they don't drown.

But you can also use weetabix, jacobs cream crackers, muslie etc

you can use cricket diet plus with carrot for moisture

or instead

Greens, apple, carrot etc, some suggest high quality fish flake as well

sure others will suggest soon as well, this is my pennies worth for you

i use bug grub and chuck an apple in for moisture, i read somewhere potato wasnt good for cricks (somin 2do with starch killing them? i think)

Just put a little bottle cap with water in with them and then crush a few weetabix up, thats what i did wit mine an it was fine.

Any fruit is pretty good. Cabbage is also a good source of calcium. Fish flakes are excellent as they contain VIT D3 which helps to process the calcium promoting good bone growth.

If you are going to breed them you will need to split the eggs laid from the adults as they will eat them. oh and be prepared for the smell!

I always feed mine fish flakes and apple for moisture they are fine
