wanting to say a big thankyou to AnneMarie at Live Foods Direct ordered 200 large locusts from them and received 200 mixed sizes i phoned and spoke to AnneMarie she explained the problems with aquiring locusts at the moment, and due to a refurb of their facilities mine were sent to me from elsewhere in europe and althought this is not an excuse she would address the problem and offered me 100 compliments of the company, so i placed another order and reminded them off the 100 free i was due, my order arrived no 'freebies' and another mixed batch, i emailed Annemarie and the next day i took delivery of 200 of the healthiest looking large locusts i have seen in a long long time, i hope they have sorted their facility out and if all thier locusts are of this quality from now on i would highly recommend them, they are cheap too under £29 for 200 large

i've always used LF, always good quality stock..

I cant find bulk locusts on there

I used to use them - but for the past month they haven't been able to get the schistocera (sp?) variety of adult locust - only the locusta - and my sav doesn't like them and they don't look so nice and fat and juicy as the schistocera so I've had to go elsewhere.

i buy bulk from them and i found last order to have the funky looking locus in which scared the crap out of me and the kids, so i rang them up and told them and i was given same amount free like promised
i also find crix in mine and now ive got some huge black crix making more noise than my 5 kids do and when i catch it its history lol
however they are cheap and i wouldnt shop anywhere else

They tottally screwed me about last time my food orderd turned up defrosted i have used them for a while now and spent a hell of alot of money with them

but when customer service was needed it was s**t
will now put my custom somewhere else

Thanks for that - I'll go back to them for the next order in that case - they're cheaper and the stuff arrives quicker too

Last bulk order I made for 100 small/medium locust turned up with 100 absolutely massive and scary looking monsters - also had crix and a big horrible looking spider in there too!

Emailed to complain and the next day I recieved what I'd ordered in the first place. Great customer service, which I didn't expect to be honest!

However, last week I ordered some stuff, including butterworms, and they've only partially sent the order because they've run out of the butterworms!?? Surely they shouldn't let you order them if they don't have them in stock?

Good/bad feelings about them at the minute....
