Default Housing crickets

Do crickets need anything in special to house them?

I intend to just put the in a mesh top fish tank, Will that be ok?

Do they need a substrate or anything ?

Thanks

Nick

mesh top?? they might get out!! just give them food, like apple, carrot etc, you could use kitchen roll, sawdust, anything really, and give them something to hide and climb on, eg an egg tray..
