Default Feed Your Pet Snails But What Pet Can Have Them?

okay i got 5 african land snails i always had them but my b/f picked some up yesterday for me i only wanted 3 but got 5. well i wanted to know what reptile or pet can eat them for treats or part of diet coz i dont mind breeding them and selling them for reptile food. i know it maybe sick but im not killing them your pet is so what pet can have them anyone knows? thanks

boscs love them but nowhere or noone buys them as feeder food really...

I feed mine to the beardeds, curly tails and eyeds with the cat/kitten having a few when they feel like it too

a lot of monitors like them. Boscs and tegus especially.

Not worth you breeding them to sell as feeder though, it'd cost more than you made and you'd just end up over run with 1000's of the things.

i did have 2 adults gals before when i was in school but sold them coz college but some one payed £5 for both i love the babys they soo cute but i dont want to make money from them your cant make much like £1 for 2 snails that not getting far but mine are only babys now so when they get adults ill put have a couple of babys and sell them cheaper than chips alot of people still looking for them. around my place i want the white ones. but if anyone want any baby snails for food PM me.

It doesn't quite work like that.

you get HUNDREDS of babies and until they grow on they are worth nothing, literally pence. To get them to a 'sellable' age or even a 'worthwhile eating' stage takes time (and therefore money etc).

I was not kidding when I said you will end up overrun with the things. Most petshops either breed their own, or get given them, those that pay do only literally pay pence.

Tortoises eat them as well and hedgehogs.
I thought my toad and frog might but they haven't eaten any I've given them.

I only put the ones I got off you in when I realised the toad wouldn't eat them.
