Default lobster roaches

I bought some lobster roaches and have started to breed them and they are breeding quite fast the only thing is that everyone says that they are silent but I have a noise like the crickets make coming from the box every night when the lights go off is this normal

No they shouldn't be making any noise. Is it chirping or just noise? They might move around and if its crowded that will naturally make a little noise.

Edit: I noticed you said when the lights go off - roaches like it dark so they may be hiding during the day and then all coming out at night when its darker, they really don't like the light.

Can I ask how have you got yours to breed so quick cause I've had some for ages now and it doesn't seem like there's anything happening. I keep expecting to see loads of babies but I have only seen a few.

Is it possible that there are actually crickets in there? I found a couple in with mine and they seem to be living quite happily, no idea how they got in there though.
