Why is there egg holders in? the cardboard things? do they serve a purpose? always wondered lol

i believe its there to give them some where dark to hide not great lovers of light so ive been told

it gives them some thing to do instead of killing each other and yep as stated above like to be in the dark as well

if you put fruit and veg in with them to give them all the vitimins for you reptile when they eat thats good thats a good way to tuffen them up lol
