Thats pretty much it tbh, you put crushed weetabix mixed with a bit of watered down syrup or honey, throw in some potatoe or carrot etc, and leave em to it. They have changed to beetles havent they?? You can throw a few bits of egg crate in aswell for additional places to lay eggs if ya want. Cant really say i did much else and it worked for me.

Breeding Mealworms

Heres a bid of additional info, these reckon you should take the beeteles out once theyve turned black as they eat the layed eggs, i never did but if youve only got a small amount of beetles then this could be why your not get any hatched.

50-100, that should be plenty, tehnically, the rate at which they are layin should be greater than the rate at which there bein eatin, so you should still be gettin some hatch. Have you got any brown ones?? Try speratin the browns from the blacks and see what happens? Maybe if most of ya beetles are black then thats the prob, cant think what else to suggest tbh.
