Default *glare* royal mail.

Recently ordered some Turkestan roaches off foggy, and no problems, he sent them last monday (not monday 5 days ago, monday the week before!) and the arrived... today. >_<

a good number are pretty dead. I'm a little gutted. Just to be clear, I don't blame foggy, just fancied a rant about the mail.

Anyone else have these kinda problems? how bad was it?

at the moment its a pretty sure bet youll end up with dead livefood if you use anything short of Special Delivery. apparently the strikes are suspended until after Xmas, but there is still a backlog of post jugding by the dates on some things ive been receiving the past few days. the extra £4-5 on postage has been worth it for the last month or so. otherwise you end up with £4-5 of dead insects, at least!

Agreed I use livefood warehouse, the extra £2.50 for Special delivery has been well worth it, especially when you have ordered 250 crix, 200 locusts and a few tubs of waxies.

For weeks and weeks I was supposed to be getting first class delivery with Royal mail , although why they can still get away with the " Royal " part is beyond me . 7 days / 7 days / 9 days / 7 days this was before any strikes and this was for locusts from livefood.co.uk , at the end of 9 days etc I was'nt getting many left alive . I complained to my postie who gave me a number to ring , I never got around to it because last week I ordered "While they were striking" and got them next day ? Now I'm having to pay an extra £6 a week more to get them next day .

This has been no fault of livefood.co.uk because you get constant e-mails and the suff is always sent out before 12 noon on the day you order .

We seriously need a mail company that can kick "Royal" mails backside

edit : Meant to say , is the £2.50 special delivery at livefood warehouse a fixed price no matter the size of the order , if so may go with them , looks like it would end up being a lot cheaper for my locusts .

If you mean me , I said this was going on before the strikes , I gave a few weeks worth at the sort of timing I've had with the mail , this has been going on for many months and in that time besides the next day delivery last week , I have had one in under a week , that was 5 days I believe , I remember it because it does'nt happen to often .

Unless my particular office are just not getting the post out I have no idea whats been going on .
