Default Dried Crickets ??

Hi, noticed they now do like small tubs of what is I presume dried crickets in pet shops, are these any good? Just trying to find a solution to my MIL's problem with feeding live crickets to my beardie if we go away?? Could she dust a few of these with calcium powder and put them in instead?

Not seen dried ones but have tried canned ones before, they stink rotten and none of my animals would touch them...i wouldn't advise it,mostly if the insect doesn't move, the reptile shows no interest!
I'm sure your beardie would be fine for a short while with just fruit and veg?

I occasionally give my beardie dried crickets. He is not that keen and he usually eats anything. They are a useful last resort when I run out of live food but I now mix his diet with veg and it is no longer a problem.
