i always thought it was really hard to keep tropicals


....i dont think i have the brain power to deal with all the nitrate levels etc i really know nothing about fish keeping =[

Aww, it's not that hard, really

If you lived closer, i'd donate some mature media so you wouldn't have to cycle your tank lol.

The hill stream loaches do well in coldwater. Interesting looking b*ggers. If you want something simple just get a few gold fish. Tropical isn't as hard as it sounds though.
