Is that about 3 foot? I'd say you could get a few fancy golfish in there as long as you get a good filter. Maybe a fluval 2 (about £20).
Normal goldfish tend to get bigger, so I'd go for some fancy fantails or something.

For coldwater a good basic rule is to stock about 1" per gallon.

So you could have about 30" of small fancy goldfish. They do need a filter. I would choose an appropriately sized internal, as Liam said.

Make sure you cycle it, either with or without (better ) fish. Have a look at esfa's sticky ^^^.

Have a read of this if you can be bothered, tis quite good:

I think the 2 and the 1 were in ft, not cm.

so it's just below 20 US Gallons.

you could have a shoal of white could mountain minnows! maybe 15. normals and albinos!

and then maybe a few apple snails. they're very impressive when fully grown.

Yeh, if I had even the slightest grasp of simple maths I might have been useful

OK, from now on, ignore what I say, and just follow esfa's advice...

if you can get a heater, it opens up so many more options! They arn't expensive at all.

You could go for a sub-stopical biotope with hillstream loaches - they're like small stingrays. Awesome things!
