The easiest thing to add at first are the soft corals, eg. Leathers, toadstools, xenia and mushrooms.. These are on the whole the easiest corals to look after requiring less calcium and additives than the hard (LPS or SPS) corals.
As previously said clowns will host a number of different things within the tank, conversly some clowns won't host at all. HTH. |

get your tank set up right, buy good quality live rock that has already been cured, add to tank, do not use any other bio filtration and make sure you have enough circulation, then after rock added wait 48 hours and start adding a fish or two, there will be a very small cycle in the 24 hours after adding rock and will stabalize straight away.
done this many times with no problems at all, no need to do a long cycle if you use enough quality cured live rock. can have your tank up and running in 2 days. i was not sure about this when told a i have always done long cycles, but i'm telling ya it works and i have never had any losses. |
