Default Duck Weed

Have some Duck Weed floating plants if anyone would like some? £1.50 for a small bag (it soon spreads) plus £1.00 postage. Ideal for ponds, freshwater aquariums or natural terrariums with water in them.

I bought it as I was told that it is very good for bubble breeding fish and as it spreads quickly it can limit the growth of algae because it can limit the light entering a pond for example and takes the nutrients that algae would otherwise use. My Goldfish love eating it also.

Have to 'hold fire' if your interested because some guy on the other thread that posted about this seems to think that it is illegal to sell this. I am just trying to clarify the situation on this at the mo - but can't find anything on the internet about this (other than in some states in America where there tend to be some unusual laws anyway)?

Thanks !

In all seriousness though I looked for this stuff for ages for my natutal setup terrariums (for my frogs) and it took my ages to find some. Just offering it to anyone else who might want it. After postage and paypal fees I am not asking much ....

No I don't think it's illegal but I certainly wouldn't put it in my tropical tank lol It spreads like the plague. Will be good in a pond if kept under control.

As long as people who buy it, really really want it in their pond!

i think it looks nice in duck ponds covering the edges by the reeds
but whenever we have a bit it spreads like wildfire
and can't see the koi! hehe
